Tóm tắt

Mục tiêu: Xác định tình trạng tăng huyết áp và một số yếu tố liên quan về dinh dưỡng ở người trưởng thành tại 2 xã ven biển, tỉnh Nghệ An.


Phương pháp: Nghiên cứu cắt ngang trên 1170 người từ 40-69 tuổi tại 2 xã Nghi Thịnh và Nghi Thái, huyện Nghi Lộc, tỉnh Nghệ An. Thu thập thông tin chung và số liệu về huyết áp, nhân trắc, thói quen ăn mặn và uống rượu và tiền sử bệnh của các đối tượng. Tỷ lệ tăng huyết áp được tính toán và điều chỉnh theo cấu trúc tuổi và giới của quần thể. Phân tích hồi quy đa biến được áp dụng để xác định mối liên quan giữa tăng huyết áp đối với tình trạng kinh tế-xã hội, chỉ số khối cơ thể, vòng eo, thói quen ăn mặn và uống rượu.


Kết quả: Tỷ lệ mắc tăng huyết áp (95%CI) điều chỉnh theo tuổi và giới lần lượt là 46,3 (42,6-50,0); 11,3 (9,12-14,0); 18,1 (15,1-21,5); 7,97 (6,11-10,3); và 16,3 % (13,7-19,3) ở các nhóm bình thường, bình thường-giới hạn cao, tăng huyết áp giai đoạn 1, giai đoạn 2 và nhóm được chẩn đoán bị tăng huyết áp trước đây và đang được điều trị. Có tới 61.5% người bị tăng huyết áp nhưng không biết mình đang bị bệnh. Các yếu tố liên quan độc lập đối với tăng huyết áp gồm tuổi, giới tính, tình trạng thừa cân-béo phì, thói quen ăn rau và hoa quả/ngày (<5 đơn vị/ngày), thói quen ăn mặn và uống rượu (> 1 lần/tuần), được chẩn đoán rối loại lipid máu trước đây, và tiền sử gia đình có người bị tăng huyết áp.


Kết luận: Nghiên cứu cho thấy tỷ lệ cao tăng huyết áp ở các xã ven biển. Các yếu tố liên quan độc lập được phát hiện trong nghiên cứu này nên được quan tâm chú ý trong can thiệp phòng chống tăng huyết áp tại cộng đồng.
